Claude and Christie Smith opened the restaurant in August after spending over 20 years in the grocery business. Burgers are also available in buffalo for an authentic South Dakota flavor. Claude grinds the meat, both beef and buffalo, from whole chuck roasts and makes the patties himself every day. Christie proofs and bakes the buns fresh daily as well; however, the exception is the gluten-free buns they recently added to the menu for people with dietary considerations.
