Microsoft has an official response to those wondering why. And how do they plan on enforcing this? Can the installation some how detect its in a virtual machine? Because they wont be able to tell when you move it to a new machine. Just MS being even more sleazy than they have to be. If this is actually enforced, it will have some minor security benefits - Home users won't be able to have malware jack their OS up into a virtual sandbox.
There are two main types of Windows users in the world. I honestly find no advantage to Windows Vista, and there are some downsides. For example, no matter what Vista advocates say, Vista requires Vista-level hardware. Pentium 4 desktop hardware runs it better, but usually that class of hardware needs a video upgrade. I've personally seen instabilities with the shipping version of the Vista code: applications freezing, Windows services slowing to a crawl, even OS crashes.
Microsoft: virtualization not mature enough for home Vista users

Want to read Slashdot from your mobile device? Point it at m. So just have your legal department contact MS and work through the licensing that will allow you to do this. You don't have a legal department, and you can't afford to hire a law firm for something as trivial as setting up a virtual machine. Gee, I guess that means that you won't be able to test the software you are writing against the Vista HOME platform in a cost effective manner.
Good movie carol, love the 69 scene. Its so fucking hot with the sneakers, would love to see you dressed in them again in another movie. It would be a fantasy to have some joy with you while we both wear our chucks.
